Privacy

The formal privacy notice has not been published yet. What follows is a plain description of what the site actually collects and stores, so you can see it before the legal wording exists rather than after.

An order needs enough to deliver it and to talk to you about it:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, which the courier calls to arrange delivery
• Your delivery address, city, country and, if you give one, a postal code

That information is stored with the order so it can be fulfilled and looked up later. Nothing else is asked for.

• No card details. You pay in cash on delivery, or by a transfer you make from your own bank. The site never asks for a card number or your bank login.
• No account is required. You can order as a guest. If you choose to create an account, we keep your name, email and a hashed password so you can see your past orders.
• No advertising trackers are loaded, and we do not sell or share your details with advertisers.

The shop uses Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are, and what kind of device they use. Google sets cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another. The figures tell us which products people look for. They do not include your name, phone number, address or what you ordered.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or with Google’s own opt-out add-on, and the shop works the same without them.

• Your cart is a cookie holding only which product options you added and how many, for up to 30 days. It contains no prices and no names. Those are read from our database each time, which is also why a price can never be tampered with from the browser.
• Your wishlist is stored in this browser’s local storage as a list of product links. It never reaches our server except to look up those products, and clearing your browsing data clears it.
• A small link to your recent orders is kept so your confirmation page opens again from the same browser. This is why an order number alone will not open somebody else’s confirmation.
