Settling your cat in
Put it somewhere quiet and out of draughts, off the main walkway through the house. Cats choose beds by smell as much as comfort, so place a blanket or an old T-shirt inside for the first few days. Do not lift the cat in and hold it there. Leave the bed alone and let curiosity do the job.
