Feeding
A food trial only tells you something if the dog eats nothing else. That means no treats, no chews, no flavoured medicines and no leftovers unless the vet has approved them, and everyone in the house needs to know. The vet will say how many weeks the trial should run. Daily amounts by weight are on the bag. Keep fresh water out.
Storage and ordering
