Feeding and weighing
Portion size matters more than usual with a weight care food, so go by the feeding guide on the bag and measure each meal with a cup or kitchen scales. Count any treats as part of the day's food. If your cat is very overweight, or the weight is not moving after a few weeks, ask your vet to set a target.
Switching over
Mix it into the old food for about a week and raise the share a little each day. Keep the bag rolled shut somewhere cool and dry, with fresh water always out.
