Getting a cat into the carrier

Vet visits go more smoothly when the carrier is not a surprise. Leave it open in the room for a few days beforehand and drop a treat or two inside each day, further back each time. By the day of the appointment most cats will walk in for the treat on their own.

How much and how to store

You will find a suggested daily number on the pack, and any age guidance sits beside it. Keep within that and let meals provide nearly all of your cat's food. After opening, close the pack firmly and keep it somewhere dry, since the pieces soften if they are left to the air.
