Feeding

Small dogs eat small amounts, and a few grams either way makes a difference at their size. Weigh the portion the first few times using the guide on the bag, then mark a cup at that level. Swap from the current food bit by bit over a week or longer. Keep water down beside the bowl.

How long a bag lasts

For a toy or small breed, 4 kg goes a long way. Close the bag tightly after every meal and keep it somewhere cool and dry, or the last of it will go stale.
