Good to know
A renal diet works as a complete change of food. Treats, chews and leftovers from the table all count, so clear them with your vet first. Dogs often take to wet food quickly, but a gradual change over about a week is still kinder on the stomach. Look at the feeding table on the pack for the amount that matches your dog's weight, and divide it across two or more meals.
Storage
Store unopened packs at room temperature. Once open, cover and refrigerate, and use within a day or two.
