Feeding a growing kitten
A kitten's appetite changes fast in the first year, so check the table on the bag every few weeks and adjust the amount as your kitten gets heavier. Split the day's food into three or four small meals while they are young. When you first bring this food in, mix it with what the kitten was eating before and take about a week over the change.
When to move on
Most cats are ready for adult food at around twelve months. Pawfect makes an adult recipe in the same 1 kg bags, so the switch is simple.
