Kittens need a food made for growth, and this is the kitten recipe in the Pure Life Plus range, chicken flavoured. It comes as a 1.5 kg bag or a 15 kg sack. One kitten will do fine on the small bag. The sack is mostly bought by people raising a litter.
Feeding a kitten
Young kittens do better on several small meals a day than on one or two big ones. The amounts by age are printed on the pack. If your kitten has just come home, keep it on the food it arrived with for a few days, then mix this in over about a week. Most cats move to adult food at around twelve months.
Storage
Reseal the bag after every meal and keep it cool and dry. Leave clean water out at all times.
