Remu makes this shampoo for kittens, as a separate product from its adult cat version. Kittens rarely need a bath, but one that has rolled in something or arrived from outdoors sometimes does.
Washing a kitten
Keep it short and warm. Use a basin with a little lukewarm water, wet the body while holding the kitten gently, and rub in a small amount of shampoo. Stay clear of the eyes, ears and nose, and wipe the face with a damp cloth instead. Rinse thoroughly so nothing is left to lick off. Kittens lose heat quickly, so dry yours with a towel straight away and keep it in a warm room until the coat is fully dry.
Good to know
The label gives the minimum age, so check it if your kitten is only a few weeks old, and ask a vet before bathing a very young or unwell kitten. Once your cat is grown, move to an adult shampoo. We list the full range under cat shampoos and conditioners, and other things for young animals under puppy and kitten. Payment is cash on delivery.
