This is a veterinary diet, which means it is meant for cats whose vet has asked for it. Royal Canin makes Renal for cats that need kidney support, and this is the dry version in a 2 kg bag.

Feeding it

Your vet decides whether your cat should be on Renal and for how long, and the daily amount for your cat's weight is printed on the bag. Unless the vet tells you otherwise, change over gradually by mixing it into the old food across about a week. Cats on a kidney diet need to drink well, so put out fresh water in more than one spot and refill it daily. Avoid adding other foods or treats without checking first, as they can work against the diet.

Storage

Close the bag tightly after each meal, or decant it into an airtight tub, and keep it cool and dry.
