Your vet may suggest a renal diet if your cat has kidney problems, and Mera Renal is a wet food made for that purpose. It comes in a 200 g pack. As a veterinary diet, it is fed only on a vet's recommendation.
Feeding it
Renal diets are usually fed long term, and they only do their job when they are the whole diet. Ask your vet before adding treats or mixing in other food. Cats can be fussy about a new diet, so bring it in slowly over a week or more. The amount per day is on the pack, by body weight.
Water and storage
Keep fresh water out in more than one place around the house. Opened food should be covered, kept in the fridge and used within a day or two.
Our other cat veterinary diets are listed together, and the full veterinary diet section covers dogs too. If you need a regular supply, get in touch and we can tell you what we have.
