Using it
Fill a clean, dry tray to the depth given on the bag. Remove clumps and solids each day with a scoop and add fresh litter to replace what you take out. About once a week, or sooner with several cats, throw out the lot, wash the tray and refill it. Used litter goes in the bin, never down the toilet.
Good to know
If you are changing litter to save money, make the switch over several days by mixing old and new, so the cat does not reject the tray. Store spare bags off the floor in a dry spot, as damp ruins litter before it is opened.
