Feeding and storage

Wet food is a useful way to get more water into a cat that drinks little, though a bowl of fresh water should still be out. Check the pack for the number of pouches per day. If your cat has only ever had dry food, begin with a small amount beside the normal meal and increase it across a week. Unopened pouches store at room temperature. An opened one should be covered, chilled and finished within a day or two.
