After a cat is spayed or neutered, many owners move to a food made for sterilised cats. This is Brit's, a chicken dry food from the Premium by Nature range, sold in a 1.5 kg bag.
Feeding
Sterilised cats often put on weight more easily than they did before the operation, so stick to the portion on the bag and use a kitchen scale or a measuring cup. Spread the food over two or three meals. If your cat has only just had surgery, ask the vet when to begin the new food, then bring it in over about a week.
Cats that are still under a year old and growing are usually kept on kitten food for a while longer. Your vet can tell you when to change.
Storage and delivery
Fold the bag shut after use and keep it somewhere cool and dry, with water always available near the bowl.
