Kittens sleep for most of the day, and a bed of their own gives them somewhere to do it that is not your laundry pile. The Venus bed is made by Whiskers in a size meant for kittens, and it comes in one size only.
Settling a kitten in
Put the bed in a quiet, warm corner, away from draughts, doorways and the litter tray. Kittens are drawn to familiar smells, so a worn T-shirt or the blanket they arrived with helps in the first days. Do not worry if yours ignores the bed at first and picks a cardboard box instead. Leave it in place and most come round to it.
Good to know
Check the care label before washing it, and clean it regularly, since bedding is where fleas and their eggs collect.
